about

The sole release from Pataphysical Circuits, a short-lived (failed?) Metaphysical Circuits revival experiment (and "Paraphysical Circuits' good twin".) Originally issued on 09/24/18. Catalogue number PAT101. Available here, now. It's still a great album; the artist himself considers it one of his best.

"In February 2018, CP took the challenge to improvise on the “Støjorgel” (lit. noise organ) – SK-1 plus pedals and a dictaphone – 30 minutes early every morning for a week. The improvisations quickly took an unforeseen direction, getting into a very spiritual mood with strong flavours of raga and minimalism.
The label made a challenge to add a second part – to fill out side two of the tape! Copenhagen’s smallest acoustic organ was added to the instrumentarium and a long loop of close mic’d cymbal was used as the foundation for one very long improvisation."
